Support and assistance
|
Our administrative management products are based on the tried and tested Microsoft® Excel® application and operate in much the same way as spreadsheets. This makes our office administration tools highly reliable and they will not normally require support when used as designed. For that reason we do not load our product price with a premium for real-time technical support. Each product in our administrative management tool range includes a Product Information and Guide section providing useful hints and tips. In the unlikely event that you do experience a technical problem, please e-mail us. We will respond as quickly as possibly, however, as this service is not real-time, we cannot guarantee that this will be on the same working day.All of our contact details can be found on our Company page. |

Message “You have modified a signed project.
You do not have the correct key to sign this project. The signature will be discarded.”
is displayed when saving your product.
See Article ID 313240 in the Microsoft Support Knowledge Base. This is an occasional bug associated with the AutoRecover option in Excel. If your file has been saved in the background by AutoRecover while you had it open the above message can be displayed when you try to save the file, and if you choose OK and continue to save the file it is no longer digitally signed. If you see this message you can choose not to save the file and simply re-open the original file and re-do your changes with AutoRecover disabled (see below), however, we have had feedback from one user that they did not receive a warning message and saved the file without knowing they had lost the digital signature. You can prevent the problem from happening by either ensuring that your system has the latest Microsoft Updates which include a fix for this problem, or by disabling AutoRecover by selecting Tools-Options-Save in Excel, and unchecking the appropriate box. If it has already happened there is no need to be alarmed; the primary purpose of the digital signature is to ensure that our software reaches you unaltered when you download it from the internet, and it is not vital once you have the software in your own environment. However, if you work in an environment where Macro Security is set to High or Very High you may not be able to run an unsigned spreadsheet, or if you have been opening the file using the facility to 'Always trust macros from this source', you may simply find it inconvenient to have to click 'Enable Macros' every time you open the file. In this event please feel free to contact us to obtain a replacement signed copy of the file. All of our contact details can be found on our Company page. We regret that as this problem is caused by circumstances not in our control we may have to levy a charge depending on the extent of support required. |
