• Creation of an asset database is done through a simple form based interface, allowing you to enter descriptions, serial numbers, categories, owners, locations, depreciation methods and values for each of your assets.
• You can search and organise your asset data by any of its attributes so, at the click of a button, you can easily understand the value of all assets at a particular location, or see exactly which assets are assigned to a particular cost code or person.
• In addition to displaying the current and original values of your assets, AMS allows you to enter an ‘Other Date’ to determine what the value of your asset would be at a different point in time.
• And if you’re not satisfied with the range of reports AMS provides, there is a simple Asset Export tool which allows you to create an export table of data which you can easily cut and paste into another spreadsheet or spreadsheet compatible application and manipulate or present the data as you see fit.
• You pay only once for AMS, and once an asset is fully depreciated you can delete it from your listing and free up a space, which means you can keep on using AMS for as long as your total number of assets stays within the capacity of the version you’ve purchased with no renewal or additional licensing fees.
